Title: Lead Engineer Power Electronics / EV Charging
Location : Chillicothe, IL Onsite
Job Summary
- Lead NPI and NTI programs for CCS/MCS EV charging products.
- Own product requirements, design, development, validation, and launch activities.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders .
- Drive product commissioning, field support, and technical issue resolution.
- Support product safety, compliance, commercial, purchasing, and supplier activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead CCS/MCS charger development from requirements through production.
- Develop and manage product requirements in accordance with applicable standards.
- Coordinate HW, SW, validation, product safety, and compliance activities.
- Lead supplier selection, technical evaluation, coordination, and development.
- Support field teams with commissioning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Power Electronics and EV charging systems.
- Hands-on experience with CCS/MCS chargers and Battery Management Systems (BMS).
- Experience in NPI/NPD, product design, development, and validation .
- Strong knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, and validation planning .
- Understanding of EV charging standards, HW/SW integration, safety, and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related Engineering .
- Lead-level experience in Power Electronics product development.
- Proven experience with CCS/MCS charging systems and BMS .
- Strong experience in NPI/NPD and product validation .
- Willingness to work onsite in Chillicothe, IL .
