Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotating (7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/HVTI unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac and progressive care
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Potential to float to designated units to care for the same patient population as needed
• Participate in orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations
• Work at least every other holiday as required by unit scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown or related specialty; travel experience accepted
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license required at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU / Progressive Care Unit experience preferred
• 18 months of experience within a single location preferred, though combined experience is accepted
