Position Summary:

Distribution Warehousing, Inc is seeking dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operators to join our warehouse operations team. This role is responsible for safely operating stand-up forklifts, handling shipping and receiving tasks, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency. Ideal candidates will be team-oriented, detail-driven, and committed to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets.
Perform shipping and receiving procedures with high accuracy to support inventory management.
Use RF scanners to complete required tasks per customer specifications.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and protocols for product movement, documentation, and safety.
Accurately complete required paperwork and system entries for inbound and outbound shipments.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and respond flexibly to shifting priorities.
Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance, with consistent transportation to and from work.
Maintain attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe footwear.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations and guidelines.
Willingness to work every other weekend as part of the regular schedule.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred
Prior experience operating stand-up forklifts (certification is a plus)
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Basic knowledge of warehouse inventory systems and RF scanners is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
6 months of leadership
