Required Skills & Experience
- Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field\n- Valid U.S. Driver's License\n- Minimum 1 year of Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) experience\n- Experience with parts inventory management\n- Experience supporting equipment in a regulated pharmaceutical, biologics, medical device, diagnostics, or medical technology environment\n- Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance\n- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- BMET Certification\n- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Technology Management, Engineering Technology, or related field\n- Experience with environmental monitoring or control equipment\n- Laboratory testing instrumentation experience\n- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)\n- Calibration equipment experience\n- Familiarity with FDA, ISO, cGMP, OSHA, and related regulatory environments

Job Description

A top employer in the biotechnology and laboratory services industry is looking for a Biomedical Equipment Technician I to join their team. This individual will support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and preventive maintenance of biomedical and laboratory equipment in a regulated laboratory environment. The Biomedical Equipment Technician I will work closely with laboratory personnel and senior technicians to ensure equipment operates safely, reliably, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
