Job Title: Warehouse Accounting Clerk

Pay : $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Location : Franklin, KY (onsite)

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Note : This operation runs 24/7, and individual schedules are determined by volume and client needs. Weekend availability is required and the facility is only closed three days each year.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting daily accounting and administrative functions within a distribution center environment. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, purchase order compliance, invoice verification, and operational reporting while collaborating with accounting leadership and distribution center management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proficient in Microsoft Excel, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide daily volume reports, weekly operational reports, and monthly financial and operational reports to the Accounting Analyst Supervisor.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with established purchase order procedures throughout the distribution center.
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documentation, and vendor invoices to verify accuracy and support timely invoice processing and payment.
• Coordinate the ordering and purchasing of office supplies and administrative products for the distribution center.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for office supply vendors and related service providers.
• Support the standardization of operational reports across distribution centers to ensure consistency with corporate administrative policies and reporting requirements.
• Review and verify staffing agency invoices for accuracy, ensuring proper documentation and alignment with agreed-upon services and charges.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Analyst Supervisor, Accounting Manager, and all levels of distribution center management to resolve discrepancies, address reporting needs, and support daily operations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation in accordance with established company procedures.
• Assist with additional accounting, administrative, and operational responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of one year of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or a related administrative accounting function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with distribution center operations, purchasing procedures, invoice processing, and operational reporting is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet management, data entry, reporting, and analysis.
• Ability to work with financial records, purchase orders, invoices, and operational data.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing financial information and preparing reports.
• Ability to learn and utilize accounting, purchasing, and warehouse management systems.
