CDL A Truck Driver

Class A Driver Location: Raleigh, North Carolina Hours: Monday – Friday day shift; OT on some Saturdays 8 AM – 12 PM; No nights, holidays, or Sundays. Overview The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is looking for a full‑time Class A driver to join our growing team. Responsibilities Local deliveries Transport materials to and from specified destinations Prepare receipts for load pickup Maintain truck logs and proof of delivery Loading and unloading truck materials when needed Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Class A driver’s license DOT certification Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally Be able to frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs Be able to strap and load materials onto truck bed Knowledge of PVF is a plus Benefits PTO, paid holidays, birthday off with pay, and jump starts GM and Ford vehicle discount Medical: company pays 75% of premium plus a free medical wrap Free telemedicine with medical enrollment Dental Vision Life insurance and AD&D Critical illness and accident insurance Short‑term and long‑term disability 401(k) program with 25% match with no cap Our Culture With over 25 locations in multiple states, each branch has created a culture built on cooperation, teamwork, and the notion that we are BUILT TO SAY YES , not only to our customers but to you as well.
