Registered Nurse In Emergency Department

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse License: Valid Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, CPI, TNCC

Must-Have: Candidates must possess the following skills to be considered for the role: - BLS - ACLS - ENPC or PALS - CPI - TNCC

Description: The emergency department has 12 beds and is staffed by 6-8 personnel. During the day shift, there are 5-7 RNs, 1 ER Technician, and 1 Unit Secretary. During the night shift, there are 5-6 RNs, 1 ER Technician, and 1 Unit Secretary. Patient ratios are 4:1. The type of equipment used includes EMR. We are seeking candidates with strengths in neuro and cardiac care. The unit operates in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. Typical procedures performed include STEMI, Stroke/TPA, and RSI. The preferred scrub color is royal blue, but this is not a requirement. There are outstanding achievements in the department such as a 12-minute door to needle time for TPA. We have the fastest bed assignment times for patients in the emergency department. This position offers opportunities to work with new equipment and advanced technology.
