Responsibilities
- Monitor patients with telemetry and other advanced monitoring equipment; track vital signs and key clinical metrics.
- Perform regular assessments, recognize subtle changes in patient conditions, and initiate necessary interventions or life-saving actions.
- Administer complex medications, IV therapies, and titrate drips as ordered.
- Provide specialized care for patients recovering from surgery, those with cardiac events, or other complex conditions (e.g., vent patients, neuro checks for stroke patients).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the care team to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families on diseases, treatment plans, and discharge instructions; document care and patient responses accurately.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Michigan.
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
- Minimum 2 years RN Stepdown/Progressive Care experience; telemetry monitoring experience.
- Cerner electronic health record experience.
- Ability to work night shift and participate in a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
