HR Business Partner (HRBP)

Job Summary The Senior Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor and operational HR leader, partnering closely with leaders and employees across the organization. This role aligns HR initiatives with business objectives while supporting workforce planning, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement. The Sr. HRBP provides guidance on employee relations, performance management, compliance, change management, and workforce strategies while supporting a positive and high-performing workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Partner with business leaders to understand organizational goals and workforce needs. Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives. Provide guidance and recommendations on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to management on people-related matters. Manage complex employee relations issues and conduct thorough workplace investigations. Provide coaching and support to managers regarding performance concerns and employee issues. Facilitate conflict resolution and ensure fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures. Lead and support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning. Coach managers on employee development and succession planning strategies and support leadership development initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Advise leadership on labor and employment law matters, including wage and hour compliance, leaves of absence, and workplace standards. Mitigate organizational risk through proactive HR guidance. Partner with leadership to drive employee engagement initiatives and support change management and organizational transformation efforts. Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics and recommend strategies to improve employee experience, retention, and productivity. Support recruitment efforts for key and critical business positions. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs and processes. Collaborate with HR team members on continuous process improvement initiatives. Support HR systems and technology utilization to improve operational efficiency. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including HR Business Partner responsibilities. Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment law. Demonstrated experience managing employee relations and workplace investigations. Experience supporting performance management and talent development initiatives. Strong interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Experience within logistics, supply chain, distribution, warehousing, or transportation. Professional HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP. Experience with UKG Ready HRIS. Experience supporting operations within a distribution center environment.
