Registered Nurse

Schedule: Full-time | 64 hours/pay period | 7 Days On 7 Days Off | 4:30pm to 8:00am Location: Must be available to provide services in our Alexandria and surrounding areas. Pay Range: $34.50 - $45.00 / hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location. This position includes guaranteed pay for 64 hours per pay period. With a 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule, you’ll triage calls, and provide in-home visits. What you'll do as a Registered Nurse (RN) with Hospice This role is built for someone who thrives in autonomy, brings clinical expertise to the forefront, and has a deep calling to make meaningful connections during life’s most tender moments. Deliver Compassionate Clinical Care Conduct skilled assessments and provide routine, PRN, admission, discharge, and death visits. Deliver hospice care that honors everyone’s physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. Provide Communication and Support Partner with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and follow a comprehensive care plan. Educate families on what to expect, pain management, and comfort measures. Lead with Accountability Prioritize calls and visits with urgency, and ensure documentation is completed accurately and promptly, often at the point of care. Actively Collaborate Maintain strong communication with entire team: manager, physicians, social workers, aides, chaplains, and referral sources. Support The Whole Person Provide clinical insight and emotional support to families before and after the patient’s death, participating in bereavement planning as needed. Other Duties As Assigned The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive. This Job Also Requires Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota. Valid driver’s license and insured personal vehicle. CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire). Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and time-management skills. Willingness to travel to client homes and respond to patient needs during on-call hours. Ability to pass state mandated background checks. Physical capability to perform all essential job functions. Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with clients, staff, and families.
