How You Will Drive Success Work directly with the General Manager (GM) to ensure consistent revenue growth through growing guest count and leading performance metrics (core sales mix, MultiCare, Core Plus). Coach and execute excellent customer service while creating an exceptional guest experience. Set a positive example as a leader while building team engagement and efficiency. Focus on developing teammates by leveraging the internal training program and providing ongoing guidance, coaching, and direction. Ensure quality control measures and processes are followed consistently. Carry out other duties and projects necessary for the position (inventory, cash handling processes, guest issues and concerns). Work with the District Manager (DM) on any critical initiatives. Assist the GM with budgeting, sales forecasts, financial performance, and expense controls. Provide clear and detailed direction to the team consistently. Ensure the service center is clean, safe, and presentable per the Guide to Excellence (GTE). Provide guidance and mentoring to automotive technicians and CSAs. Perform opening and closing duties when the GM is off. Assist the GM in building and maintaining an engaged workforce that reflects customer volume and business need. Lead daily team huddles and store meetings. Set direction for achieving business goals. Manage inventory and product orders that meet business needs. Adhere to and hold others accountable to all rules and regulations that maintain a safe and productive work environment. Assist guests with their questions and needs (in‑person, electronically, or via telephone). What You’ll Need (Qualifications) One to three years of retail management experience; professional automotive experience is not required. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Proven leader who can inspire and motivate diverse groups of people. Sound business sense and comprehensive understanding of the retail industry. Ability to analyze, comprehend, and recommend financial objectives that increase sales and service results. Positive, helpful attitude and professional conduct and appearance at all times. Energetic in a fast‑paced, flexible, high‑performance retail environment. “Guest First” mindset. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to stand on feet on hard surfaces (concrete or metal). Comfortable working in environments with hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes. Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds. Perform all other duties as assigned.
