BENCH JEWELER - Marx Jewelers Ltd. ( Downtown Portland ). Pay: $25.33/hr. Specializing in custom hand-fabricated & hand-made fine jewelry. Duties: Fabricate, alter, repair, & maintain professional-grade jewelry pieces. Perform complex hand-fabrication of custom mountings, decorative filigree, hand-made chains, & hand-made bracelets. Perform intricate metalwork (casting, filing, polishing) in gold & platinum. Utilize specialized hand tools, machinery, torches, & laser welders for precision assembly. Conduct complex stone setting (micropavé & channel) Reqs: 24 mos exp as Bench Jeweler. Must have verifiable exp in laser welding (gold/platinum), hand-fabricated filigree, custom mountings, hand-made chains and bracelets, & micropavé/channel setting.
