Job Skills / Requirements We are seeking a dependable and experienced Janitorial Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in commercial floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of floor care equipment, and a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities Perform floor care services including stripping, waxing, sealing, buffing, burnishing, and polishing Clean and maintain various flooring types (VCT, tile, concrete, hardwood, carpet, etc.) Operate and maintain floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, and extractors Perform carpet cleaning and spot removal Follow safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs Ensure assigned areas meet cleanliness and safety standards Work independently or as part of a team Qualifications Minimum [2+ years] experience in commercial floor care Knowledge of proper floor care techniques and chemical usage Experience operating professional floor equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods Reliable transportation Strong attention to detail Ability to pass background check (if required) This job reports to the Manager/Supervisor #J-18808-Ljbffr Maintenance of Dallas, Inc.
