Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history assessments
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential support during procedures, such as preparation of operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and facilitating instrument transfers
• Administer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, including managing medication, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practices is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
