Role Summary

The Community Manager & Peer Support Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations of Centaur Journey Home, supporting residents through non-clinical peer engagement, ensuring accountability, and maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive recovery environment.

This role is non-clinical and focuses on housing stability, peer support, and community standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for residents.
• Provide peer-based support, encouragement, and accountability.
• Conduct tours for potential residents and referral partners.
• Support resident intake, orientation, and move-out processes.
• Reinforce house rules and community expectations.
• Track occupancy, move-ins, and move-outs.
• Maintain non-clinical documentation and records.
• Communicate concerns, incidents, and updates to leadership.
• Ensure the home is clean, organized, and tour-ready.

Qualifications

• Experience in recovery housing, peer support, or community management preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• CPR/First Aid recommended.
• No clinical license required.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Peer Support Specialist certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
