Job Info Job Location: Harvard, Illinois Route Type: Regional Type of Assignment: Temp to Hire Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 6 months Handling: Light Touch Additional Information CDL A Driver - Light Touch - $26.00 Per Hour - Harvard, Illinois About the Position We are looking for CDL Class A Drivers based out of Harvard, Illinois . The work is considered light-touch freight with driver-assist unload . Drivers should be comfortable using a manual pallet jack and/or lift gate when needed. Pay & Schedule Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour Schedule: 5-6 days per week Shift: Approximately 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM Key Responsibilities Deliver freight to retail locations using automatic equipment Assist with unloading freight in a professional manner Communicate effectively with store personnel and Ryder / True Value site contacts Potentially 3 - 4 layovers per week depending on route Minimum Requirements 6-12 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience Valid CDL Class A license Comfortable using a manual pallet jack and/or lift gate Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Benefits Competitive weekly pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Referral Program Why Work With TransForce TransForce drivers are respected professionals.
