Residential Electrical Service & Repair Technician — Mister Sparky®, New Castle County, DE

Start at $25/hour — performance bonuses take top techs to $75,000–$95,000+/year

Are you a service tech who can sit at a homeowner's kitchen table, diagnose the problem, lay out the options, recommend the right fix — and then do the work yourself? That's the seat we're hiring for. The better you take care of the customer, the more you earn: our performance bonuses can nearly double your base hourly rate.

What makes this role different This isn't new construction, and it isn't a "just wire it and leave" job. You own each call from start to finish — troubleshoot, walk the homeowner through options and pricing, recommend the right solution, and install it cleanly. What you'll be doing

Run residential service and repair calls across New Castle County

Diagnose electrical issues and explain them to homeowners in plain English

Walk homeowners through their options and pricing, and earn the work

Install your own work to code — safely, cleanly, and right the first time

Build repeat customers and referrals through great service

What we're looking for

Hands-on residential electrical experience (service and repair preferred)

Licensed electrician preferred — we'll train the right service-minded person on our system

A people-first personality: confident, honest, and genuinely good with homeowners

Clean driving record and the drive to do great work and earn the bonus
