For immediate consideration, please email your resume to: [email protected]Locations include:Boise, IdahoCheyenne, WyomingSalt Lake City, UtahJeffersonville, IndianaBend, OregonPay: Negotiable up to $65/hrPosition OverviewThe Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing safety, security, and environmental compliance programs across multiple construction projects. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence teams toward a culture of safety.Key ResponsibilitiesTravel up to 75% to multiple project sites to ensure trade partners meet safety expectationsConduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with safety standardsLead and organize safety training sessions for construction personnelInvestigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and corrective actionsAssist with document control and program developmentOversee construction activities to ensure OSHA complianceManage subcontractor and contractor safety performanceMaintain and update corporate and site-specific EHS dashboardsTrack, analyze, and distribute EHS metrics and reportsKnowledge, Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of safety rules, regulations, and construction safety standardsProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence teamsAbility to communicate, defend, and reinforce safety programs diplomaticallyExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong verbal and written communication abilitiesAbility to coach, train, and mentor others effectivelyProficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Planner), preferredQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred5+ years of direct construction safety experience, preferredGeneral Contractor experience, preferredOSHA 510 and/or 500 a plusCHST or CSP certification preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, sit, climb, and balanceAbility to lift up to 100 lbs without mechanical assistanceAbility to work both indoors and outdoorsAbility to travel by air to various locations nationwideBenefits OverviewApex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that provide optional financial protection.
