New graduates welcome to apply! What to Expect as a Radiology Tech with OrthoArizona This role does not require you to perform fluoroscopy or be involved in surgery. Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour Schedule: 8-hour shifts, no weekends, no major holidays, no on-call Location: Glendale, AZ $1,000 Sign On Bonus! $500 after 45 days, the other $500 after 90 days! Explain all procedures to patients, ensuring all their questions are answered. Protect patients from unnecessary radiation exposure by utilizing shielding equipment. Take X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. Document patient care services in chart. Import outside imaging to office PACS. Scan documents into EMR. Maintain accurate QC logs and service records, maintain and monitor dosimetry badges, etc. as required by state and federal regulations. Ensure equipment is in working order, maintain radiology supplies and report any malfunctions. Qualifications 1–2 years Radiology, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital. Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program. Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Arizona State license: Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE). Maintain CPR certification.
