Position: Front/Back Office Coordinator
Location: Meritt Island
Schedule: Full-time Day Shift Monday to Friday 7-4/ 8-5
Space Coast Surgery Center is a premier ambulatory surgery center dedicated to delivering high-quality surgical care in a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment. We're currently looking for a motivated and dependable Front/Back Office Coordinator to join our dynamic team and help ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Collect co-pays, coinsurance, and outstanding balances
- Obtain and scan photo IDs and insurance cards
- Verify insurance coverage and enter correct data in HST
- Assist with patient check-out and maintain efficient flow
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Prepare new patient charts and daily deposit packets
- Maintain a clean and organized front office and waiting room
- Collaborate with clinical and admin teams to support patient care
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 12 years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Familiarity with medical terminology and front/back office duties (preferred)
- Proficiency with EHRs (HST experience a plus)
