Travel RN – Renal / Telemetry (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: July 6, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed Renal Medicine unit, maintaining RN-to-patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6
• Perform and manage peritoneal dialysis, including operation of cyclers and related equipment
• Collaborate with a night shift team consisting of a Charge RN, floor nurses, and HUC/CNA staff
• Utilize lift and mobilization equipment to ensure safe patient handling
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner electronic medical record system
• Float to like units or serve as a sitter as operationally needed; rotate weekends and holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure appropriate for the state of practice
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Peritoneal dialysis experience is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Current BLS certification
• PCT certificate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certified peritoneal dialysis nurse credential
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR
