We identify and develop recording artists and songwriters, and we produce, distribute and promote the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful music to delight and entertain fans around the world.Our core values of Authenticity, Boldness, Creativity, Connection, Drive, and Insight are the essence of our people, making UMG a renowned company in the music industry.Role SummaryDevelop creative marketing plans & strategy for Artists, in-line with the Domestic Department objectives.About the role:Strategizing and executing marketing campaignsForecast marketing campaign and KPI’sIdentifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage inform, and motivatesBuilding Artists awareness and positioningCollaborate with department heads to ensure effective implementation of marketing plansDevelop and execute marketing budgets, evaluates results through KPI’sDirecting, planning and coordinating marketing efforts.Understanding and developing budgets, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, and profit-loss projections.Develops different online and traditional marketing approaches to generate sales and artist exposureDelegate print publicity for domestic releases and projects; writing press releases and bios for artistsIdentifies potential business partners and potential products viable to such partnersKeep up-to-date latest trends and best practices in marketingPlanning and implementing promotional campaignsDelegate online and print marketing campaigns.Maintain effective communications to ensure that all relevant departments are kept informed of marketing objectives.Delegate social media, public relation efforts, and content marketing.Desirable Traits:Degree in Music Marketing, Marketing or equivalent5 years of work experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experienceBroad knowledge in the current music landscape and market trendsHuge passion for music and appreciation for music cultureCreative, innovative, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
