Job Description

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Statesville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Mon 06:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wed 04:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Thur 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Fri 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions taken according to site requirements.
• Maintain awareness of activity throughout the location and communicate security-related information, maintenance concerns, and unusual conditions to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
