Schedule: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM
Start/end times may shift by up to 1 hour.
Hours: 40 hours/week
Driver's License: Not required
Bicycle: Not required
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Technician-II to support the final testing and troubleshooting of electromechanical equipment . This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of machines before they leave the assembly line.
The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on electrical testing experience, and the ability to interpret schematics and analyze system data.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with electromechanical equipment .
- Conduct basic electrical testing , including measuring voltage, resistance, and continuity .
- Perform isolation testing on sensitive equipment.
- Execute scripts and queries through a command-line interface (CLI) .
- Maintain and update existing test and troubleshooting documentation .
- Interpret functional schematics and circuit diagrams .
- Analyze CAN network data for system diagnostics.
- Use CAN bus tools and data-logging systems to identify system issues.
- Identify, document, and report both known and newly discovered issues .
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail during testing and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working with electromechanical systems or in a similar technical role.
- Demonstrated triage and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing and hand tools .
- Experience with CAN bus tools and data-logging systems .
- Familiarity with command-line interfaces .
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and circuit diagrams .
- Strong attention to detail and technical documentation skills.
