Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technician (CST) Aurora, Colorado
The organization is seeking a travel CVOR CST to support open-heart surgery cases in an Operating Room Heart Team. This role requires current acute care CVOR hospital experience and specific certifications held in hand. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift (7:00 AM5:00 PM), 8 shift hours, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Minimum 1-year current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience; Basic Life Support (BLS), Decontamination/Debridement (DORA), and National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) certifications must be in hand; Proficiency in open heart surgery
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience; Prior experience traveling as a CVOR Tech in large trauma facilities; Cardiovascular experience
• Responsibilities: Support open-heart surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and valve replacement procedures
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Call Requirements: Call requirements will vary based on need and staffing and will be discussed at the interview
• Weekends: No weekends
• Additional Information: The OR Heart Team includes day shift teams of 3 (2 RN s and 1 CST Tech); night shift teams of 2 (1 RN and 1 CST Tech). Patient ratio is 1:1.
