Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, continuous care for critically ill and unstable patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting
• Manage and monitor life-support equipment including mechanical ventilators
• Titrate complex intravenous drips and interpret vital signs to guide clinical decisions
• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe patient assessments and administer medications accurately
• Coordinate advanced patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary medical team
• Float to similar units within the facility as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of direct ICU experience (float experience does not qualify)
• Demonstrated EKG interpretation experience
• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license in good standing (LARA and Nursys verification required)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Completed RN skills checklist within the past year

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Neuro, CVICU, or Trauma ICU environments
• Proficiency in managing ventilated patients
• Experience with CRRT and intra-aortic balloon pumps
