We are a small family-owned company without all the corporate politics that you might find in most 4 walled jobs. You get paid to drive from patient to patient along with IRS mileage reimbursement. JOB OVERVIEW Assists patients with activities of daily living, including, but not limited to bathing, grooming, skincare, dressing, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, incontinence care, and ambulation as per the plan of care Light housekeeping, meal preparation, and run errands/shopping Medication reminders Assist with ambulation/safe transfer techniques and range of motion Complete documentation for observations and cares provided to patients accurately and according to agency policies Observes and reports any changes in the patient's physical, mental, or emotional condition or home situation to a RN Provide compassionate, personalized care while involving the patient in socialization or other diversional activities to promote the activity of the mind and self-esteem SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: Current CNA license Current CPR license Valid Driver's license Appropriate automobile insurance. Must have reliable transportation Must be bondable and pass required background checks. Strong communication and listening skills; be able to follow verbal and written instructions; Compassionate, patient, and caring in nature and genuinely concerned about helping people Have high moral standards of honesty and integrity Friendly, courteous, tolerant of other's lifestyles, nonjudgmental concerning patients/co-workers Ability to work independently in a home setting with minimal direct supervision.
