Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Lead and supervise the shipping team, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure high performance.
• Schedule and assign tasks to team members to meet shipping deadlines.
• Shipping Operations: Oversee the preparation and execution of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
• Ensure accurate packing and labeling of products to minimize errors and damages during transit.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor shipping schedules and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Process Improvement: Analyze shipping processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for shipping operations.
• Quality Control: Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations in all shipping activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of outgoing shipments to verify accuracy and quality.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and prepare reports for management.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to shipping efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of shipping processes, regulations, and documentation.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
