Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, thoroughly explaining processes with empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce top-notch diagnostic images
• Safeguard and operate imaging equipment, promptly noting any issues for maintenance
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures effectively in the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Required Certifications

• Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent is essential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
