Director of Pharmacy in Glendale, AZ

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This interim leadership role offers an experienced Director of Pharmacy the opportunity to oversee comprehensive pharmacy operations in a dynamic healthcare setting. The position emphasizes strategic management and operational excellence, with a focus on compliance and team leadership.

Location:

Glendale, AZ

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, day shifts

Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards
Oversee pharmacy compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Administer budget management and financial planning for the pharmacy
Lead and support pharmacy personnel, fostering a professional and collaborative environment
Act as the pharmacy’s representative in various meetings and cross-departmental initiatives

Qualifications:

Valid Arizona pharmacy license
Current experience supervising an inpatient pharmacy, demonstrating strong leadership and operational management skills
Proven ability to navigate regulatory compliance and budgeting in a pharmacy environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and representation
