At Kuehne+Nagel, your contribution goes far beyond the warehouse—it helps shape the flow of global trade.How You Create Impact• Develop project plans and recommendations in support of KN/Customer objectives and lead implementation; track and report on the status of the project. • Develop rapport with client management and maintain strong working relationships. Successfully manage customer expectations. • Direct members of the respective project teams during the course of each implementation phase; the number of team members will typically vary between 3 and 15. • Control and monitor project effectiveness; update project plan as necessary. • Manage project scope and ensure change control process is adhered to. • Identify, track, manage and mitigate project issues and risks. • Develop escalation process to channel issues and concerns to appropriate parties. • Represent KN in meetings with external parties including client, consultants, vendors, and others. • Provide regular project communications and timely status reports, as well as align goals, objectives and priorities within the team.What We Would Like You To Bring• 3-5 years' management experience in a warehouse environment or as a Project Manager • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics or related field or equivalent work experience required • The ability to create and manage work plans and timelines and handle multiple priorities is essential • Must work well in a collaborative team environment and communicate (verbal and written) effectively with customers, peers and senior management • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required • Up to 50% travel may be required Working knowledge of financial reporting systems • Working knowledge of Warehouse & Transportation Management Systems (WMS & TMS) • Working knowledge of financial reporting systems • Six Sigma Certification and understanding of LEAN program methodologies preferred"This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
