Custodian

Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time mid-day custodian at Gilbert Elementary. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the school building and grounds. Responsibilities Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors Clean and disinfect restrooms Empty trash cans and replace liners Dust and clean surfaces, including desks, chairs, and windows Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking as needed Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel Assist with setting up and breaking down for events as needed Other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Previous custodial experience preferred Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers and vacuums Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
