We primarily service Northern New Jersey, Southern New York State, New York City, with a landfill located in Ohio, where we also own and operate a state-of-the-art rail-served landfill. Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.: \n

\n
• Operate equipment such as Fork lift (Telehandler), Skid Steer with various other small machinery
\n
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures
\n
• Effective communication with drivers, employees, and management via hand held radios and CBs
\n
• Routinely set up and inspect equipment prior to operation
\n
• Have knowledge of machine capabilities and limitations
\n
• Observe hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating machines to perform work duties in compliance of safety specifications
\n
• Receive written and oral instruction regarding material movement
\n
• Move materials around railyard
\n
• Maintain an efficient flow to reduce traffic congestion
\n
• Follow OSHA safety standards and wear required PPE
\n

Requirements and Qualifications:: \n

\n
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
\n
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
\n
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as Equipment Operator required.
\n
• Experience from the sanitation industry is strongly preferred.
\n
• Able to work in an outdoor environment on a constant basis while being exposed to variable weather conditions, temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes, smells, and loud noises.

Salary Range Minimum: USD $20.00/Hr. Salary Range Maximum: USD $21.00/Hr.
