Senior Property Claims Leader - Large-Loss Expert (Hybrid)

You will take ownership of high-exposure property claims while playing a leadership role in mentoring adjusters and improving claims processes. Key responsibilities include: Managing complex commercial property claims from first notice to resolution Conducting detailed coverage, liability, and damages analysis Drafting disclaimers and reservation of rights letters Negotiating settlements and driving cost-effective outcomes Ensuring accurate reserving and timely indemnity payments Overseeing claims governance, controls, and best practices Supporting and developing claims adjusters (hiring, training, mentoring) Reviewing files and providing technical guidance to the team Leading training initiatives around large losses, CAT events, and emerging risks Collaborating cross-functionally with underwriting, legal, actuarial, and finance teams Driving process improvements and contributing to strategic initiatives Presenting insights and reporting to senior leadership What We’re Looking For 7+ years’ experience in property claims or related litigation Strong background handling large / complex commercial property losses Exposure to E&S market (preferred) Experience with coverage analysis and complex policy interpretation Multi-jurisdictional claims experience Proven ability to handle claims with values exceeding $1M Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills Experience mentoring or managing more junior claims professionals Comfortable working both independently and within a team What’s on Offer Competitive base salary + performance bonus Hybrid / flexible working 401(k) with employer contribution Generous holiday allowance + parental leave Additional personal leave days for wellbeing, charity, or personal interests #J-18808-Ljbffr Angove Partners
