Legal Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support busy attorneys and paralegals by managing correspondence, scheduling meetings and travel, coordinating deadlines, and assisting with preparing legal documents and contracts to help the firm run efficiently. Responsibilities Schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, coordinate travel arrangements, and work with outside vendors for events Conduct legal research as needed, with guidance from attorneys and paralegals Accept other administrative tasks to assist the team and ensure the firm runs smoothly Manage administrative tasks and office correspondence by answering phone calls and emails, communicating with opposing counsel offices, taking dictation, and informing the team of upcoming deadlines Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to create legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs; proofread documents when requested Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree is a plus Proficient with MS Office products Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and communication skills At least 1–2 years of previous experience in a law firm setting performing administrative tasks Compensation 18 - 22 hourly #J-18808-Ljbffr
