Ultrasound Technologist

This position is for an ultrasound technologist specializing in radiology. The role involves working in a 97-bed acute care facility. The organization provides a range of surgical services, including robotics and a 24-hour Emergency Department. The imaging capabilities are extensive. The position involves performing general diagnostic ultrasound. The successful candidate will work the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. The weekly guaranteed hours are 40. On-call requirements include two weeknights and potentially some weekend shifts, which are appreciated for crew sustainability. Understanding the importance of on-call duties is essential. Lodging may be provided for call nights. The patient population primarily consists of geriatric and adult patients, with limited pediatric exposure. Preferred experience includes familiarity with specific imaging equipment. Candidates should possess a friendly and competent demeanor, suited for a community-focused environment. The dress code requires scrub colors to be black or gray, with no uniform pieces advertising another organization.
