Machine Operator

Job Overview A Machine Operator ensures that the final product aligns with the company's quality standards, including reliability, usability and performance. The operator performs hourly checks, operates equipment, troubleshoots issues, maintains machinery, and carries out quality control checks while following reporting and record‑keeping procedures. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies and housekeeping. Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties. Supervise production equipment efficiently. Make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance and quality. Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment. Perform quality control checks, follow reporting and record‑keeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Minimum 18 years of age. High school education or equivalency desired. Previous machine operating experience is a plus. Knowledge and experience with micrometers, tape measure and ovality gauges a plus. Proficiency in verbal and written communication. Attention to detail and ability to multitask. Team‑working skills and ability to work independently. Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Capability to work 12‑hour shifts, stand, bend and perform repetitive tasks. Shift Hours 12‑hour night shift: 9pm‑9am 12‑hour day shift: 9am‑9pm Schedule: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat 48‑hour weeks & Sun, Wed, Thurs 36‑hour weeks.
