Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients in the emergency department.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate care plans.Perform ECG rhythm recognition and monitor patient vital signs.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.Assist with emergency procedures and interventions as needed.Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.Qualifications:Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the emergency department.Valid Ohio Nursing License or Compact State License in hand at the time of submission.AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred.Shift Details:Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AMSchedule: 3x12-Hour shiftsAvailability to work at least every other holiday is required.Additional Information:During the orientation period, candidates will need to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment, achieving acceptable scores on both assessments to ensure competency in essential skills for emergency nursing.If you are passionate about emergency care and meet the qualifications, we encourage you to apply and join our team dedicated to making a difference in patients' lives.
