Job Description

Job Summary:
The CT Tech will perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients using advanced CT equipment, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. The role requires collaboration with medical staff and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain GE 64 Rev Evo and GE 128 Rev EVO CT scanners to produce precise images.
Prepare patients by explaining procedures, positioning, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Follow facility protocols and safety guidelines, including infection control and patient identification procedures.
Document all procedures accurately in the Meditech system and ensure images meet quality standards.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support diagnostic needs.
Adhere to scheduling requirements, including working weekends, holidays, and on-call as assigned.

Qualifications:

Hold ARRT(R) certification in CT imaging.
Possess current CPR certification.
Have at least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting performing CT procedures.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge in trauma, stroke, emergency, and inpatient imaging procedures.
Maintain compliance with SCRQSA standards and other licensing requirements.
Exhibit excellent communication and patient care skills.
