Job Description

Job Summary:
The CT Tech will perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients using advanced CT equipment, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. The role requires collaboration with medical staff and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain GE 64 Rev Evo and GE 128 Rev EVO CT scanners to produce precise images.
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures, positioning, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Follow facility protocols and safety guidelines, including infection control and patient identification procedures.
• Document all procedures accurately in the Meditech system and ensure images meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support diagnostic needs.
• Adhere to scheduling requirements, including working weekends, holidays, and on-call as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT(R) certification in CT imaging.
• Possess current CPR certification.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in a hospital setting performing CT procedures.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge in trauma, stroke, emergency, and inpatient imaging procedures.
• Maintain compliance with SCRQSA standards and other licensing requirements.
• Exhibit excellent communication and patient care skills.
