Every day, you will leverage your specialized expertise to provide rapid, individualized, comprehensive care, making swift and critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing urgent patient care plans for patients of all ages, from minor injuries to life‑threatening emergencies. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, including physicians, advanced practice providers, paramedics, and support staff, contributing to a high-pressure, yet highly rewarding, environment focused on immediate stabilization and optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities and Contributions: Rapid Assessment & Triage:Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence‑based nursing care, performing rapid and accurate assessments to prioritize patient needs and facilitate timely intervention for various medical and traumatic emergencies. Emergency Interventions:Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities, balanced with the urgent needs and comfort of critically ill or injured patients. Initiates and manages life‑saving interventions Patient & Family Support:Serves as an advocate for patients' needs by demonstrating holistic care practices, offering support and clear communication to patients and their families during highly stressful times. Clinical Acuity & Adaptability:Demonstrates the ability to recognize, interpret, and adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner, often under pressure. Job Requirements Required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Preferred: BSN Must have 1 to 2 years of experience in ED AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State.
