Student Aide - Dean's Office

Description Summary The student aide will assist with the day-to-day operations of theAcademic Deans’ Office. The duties will include general officework, answering phone calls, transferring calls, photocopies,filing, data-entry, assisting students, faculty & staff, andother duties as assigned. Duties & Responsibilities Assist with general office support such as filing, shredding, andcopying of confidential documents. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Greet students and guests visiting the office. Assists with the scheduling of appointments and maintains thecalendar for office administrators. Provide assistance and information to the Academic Deans. Enter data in Excel spreadsheets and keep files organized. Assist with the hanging of signs for canceled courses and notifystudents in a timely manner. Assist with the student survey process. Check the Dean’s Office mailbox daily. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Applicant must be a current Morton College student carrying 6credit hours in the Fall and Spring. One credit in the Summer. Goodacademic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Must be able to demonstrate the Morton College core values ofcompassion, equity, accountability, innovation, andexcellence. Preferred Qualifications Bi-lingual: English and Spanish. Customer service experience and strong communicationskills. Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, andPowerPoint.
