Quality Control Specialist

Labatt Food Service is now hiring for Quality Control Specialist at the Albuquerque location. Labatt Food Service offers stability with long‑term, full‑time employment. Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas is the tenth largest foodservice distributor in the nation. We operate in a high‑intensity, high‑transaction logistics environment, supplying 14,000 items to food‑away‑from‑home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers. The usual schedule is Monday – Friday from 6:00 am – 4:00 pm. The work environment includes all parts of the warehouse, with the most time spent on our receiving dock (dry non‑air‑conditioned & refrigerated 40°F). Requirements 2+ years of experience in food safety, food quality, or a related role Knowledge of regulatory food health standards and compliance requirements Effective communication skills for continuous food safety & quality improvements Ability to operate independently and in a team environment Computer literate: Microsoft Office (corresponding with vendors) and able to take pictures (download, format) Able to work in and out of a cold environment Preferred Past history as an SQF Practitioner or have knowledge Key involvement in implementing and/or sustaining a GFSI food safety audit scheme Applicable candidates must pass pre‑employment background check, drug test, and physical. #J-18808-Ljbffr Labatt Food Service
