Respite Provider

A Part-Time position within Franklin County that provides short term temporary relief to the caregiver of eligible clients by mentoring youth and modeling skills that will help them successfully minimize the negative impact of behavioral health issues. The employee will identify enjoyable and meaningful activities in the community and engage clients through youth-friendly, culturally appropriate recreation. The employee will teach and reinforce social, daily-living, and community functioning, with a focus on behavioral health needs. 10 hours/week. Hours are flexible based on client school schedules and needs, permitted to work weekends if preferred by family and provider. Required qualifications High School Diploma Driver's License Reliable Transportation Enjoys working with youth Preferred qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field Experience working with children in a professional setting Ability to engage and connect with youth Knowledge of engaging activities for children and youth in the community Excellent verbal and written communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Cadence Care Network
