Office Manager- Law Firm

Our client consists of top personal injury lawyers focusing on construction accidents, slip and fall injuries, premises liability cases, and more. They are searching for an Office Manager to join their team ASAP!
Salary:
$100-125k base salary
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and hands-on Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of our busy law firm. This individual will manage support staff, coordinate HR activities, maintain office systems, and partner closely with leadership to uphold a productive, compliant, and collaborative workplace culture.
Job Responsibilities:
Team & HR Support
Lead recruitment and hiring processes for administrative team members in coordination with firm leadership
Facilitate onboarding and offboarding procedures, including paperwork, systems access, and policy orientation
Conduct welcome sessions for new hires to foster integration and introduce company values
Monitor employee attendance and ensure adherence to work schedules and expectations
Maintain accurate and compliant personnel records
Office Administration
Supervise administrative workflow, ensuring alignment with company policies and performance standards
Conduct regular workplace assessments to maintain a tidy, professional, and policy-compliant environment
Oversee upkeep of shared spaces and operational readiness of office areas
Facilities & Supply Management
Maintain inventory levels and order supplies for the office and breakroom as needed
Coordinate repairs and servicing of office equipment, collaborating with external vendors when necessary
Serve as the liaison for property management and cleaning service providers
Culture & Team Engagement
Champion team engagement through planning of recognition events, celebrations, and morale-building activities
Address concerns that may negatively impact team culture and escalate to leadership when appropriate
Promote a respectful, inclusive, and team-first atmosphere
Compliance & Policy Execution
Stay informed on relevant labor and workplace regulations; advise leadership on updates as necessary
Support enforcement of company policies through education, documentation, and when needed, corrective action
Manage offboarding logistics, including revoking access to confidential resources and facilitating final departure
Reporting & Leadership Collaboration
Provide management with regular updates on office operations and team performance
Identify workflow gaps or inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
Assist with initiatives related to policy rollout, compliance, and strategic projects
Qualifications:
~10+ years of experience in office management or HR coordination (experience in a professional office or legal setting preferred)
~ Knowledgeable in HR processes, office protocols, and labor law compliance
~ Skilled communicator with excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities
~ Able to multitask and remain composed in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
~ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR software or time-tracking tools is a plus
~ Solutions-focused and detail-oriented with a strong sense of initiative
~ High emotional intelligence and strong judgment in sensitive situations
~ Trustworthy, discreet, and committed to maintaining confidentiality
