Demand PlannerLaSalle Network is hiring for a Demand Planner to join a collaborative Supply Chain team supporting a well-established food manufacturing company in South Holland, IL. If you're analytical, collaborative and comfortable balancing forecasting with hands-on customer support, this could be a great next step in your career.Demand Planner ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain and continuously improve the statistical baseline forecast at the SKU-Customer levelApply historical data, seasonality, trend analysis and system-based forecasting algorithmsIdentify and correct data anomalies, including outliers, history gaps and master data issuesCollect promotional plans, pricing actions and volume assumptions from SalesBuild and maintain a structured Promotion/Event Calendar and quantify promotional upliftPartner with Sales, Customer Service, Scheduling, Supply Planning and Operations to validate demand signalsPrepare materials and lead/support weekly tactical S&OP meetings and monthly Demand reviewsPrepare weekly and monthly demand reports highlighting forecast changes, key drivers and exceptionsMaintain forecast dashboards and report weekly on forecast accuracy and bias KPIsMaintain forecast hierarchies, product segmentation and customer groupingsSupport new item introductions, phase-outs and SKU rationalizationProvide Customer Service backup coverage (~25%), including order entry, order changes, delivery updates and issue resolutionRun daily backlog, open order and shipment reports as neededWhat's Needed?Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Economics or related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning or a related roleHands-on experience with statistical forecasting models and demand planning systemsWorking knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder, Relex or similar)Experience supporting or participating in an S&OP or IBP process strongly preferredPrior experience working with Sales, Customer Service or Operations teamsAbility to provide backup Customer Service support when requiredStrong communication, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skillsWhat's In It for Me?Opportunity to own forecasting and S&OP processes at the SKU-Customer levelExposure to both demand planning and customer-facing order managementCollaborative team environment across Sales, Supply Planning, Scheduling and OperationsComprehensive benefits package including Medical, Vision, Dental and 401kStable, established manufacturing organization with room to growKey DetailsCompensation: $80,000–$90,000 base salaryBenefits: Medical + Vision + Dental + 401kLocation: South Holland, ILWork Model: 4 days onsite + 1 hybridLaSalle Network is an Equal Opportunity Employer m/f/d/v.
