We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to support our client's team on a 2-3 month contract assignment during. In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in keeping daily accounting operations running smoothly, supporting everything from AP and AR to reconciliations and month-end activities. Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments
• Generate invoices and assist with accounts receivable activities
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end close procedures and journal entries
• Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
• Support expense reporting and coding of transactions
• Assist with special projects and reporting as needed
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding accounting inquiries

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
