Project Manager Responsibilities:Manages underground water and sewer pipe installation for individual projectsProfit and loss responsibility for projects and company.Manages employees, heavy equipment, subcontractors, and materials on projects.Plans a safe project site and implements work activities in a safe way, every day.Creates production estimates.Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.Very familiar with computer use including email, spreadsheets, and other programs.Builds a productive team by positive attitude and leading by example.Outstanding organizational skills.Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.Work Environment/Physical Demands:Daily travel to jobsite(s) may be requiredWorking outdoors in hot, cold, inclement climates.50+ hours or more per week is typical.Some jobs may require excessive hours for a short duration. ABOUT USWe are a mid-sized local underground contractor. We specialize in underground wet utilities, including Sewer, Water, Fire lines, and Storm Drains. Each year we perform hundreds of commercial underground jobs ranging from $10,000 to $2 million dollars. North Star Pipelines is an industry leader in commercial site development. North Star is seeking a highly skilled professional project manager. Position is in charge of job profitability, contracts, customer service, change orders, and assisting with estimates. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years experience in the Arizona Market.WET UTILITY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!! This position requires a thorough understanding of all aspects of construction. Field knowledge should include excavation, trenching, backfill, safety, understanding of heavy equipment, pipelaying, backfill, compaction and all other aspects of underground construction. Office skills should include computers, change orders, liens, contracts, billings, estimates, and all other aspects of subcontracting. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager with experience!
