Lab Technician - LPC (1st Shift)

Job Summary The Lab Technician is responsible for analytical testing on critical parts using ICP-MS and LPC, collaborates with a team to meet customer delivery schedules, works in a cleanroom environment for specialty processes, and supports design‑of‑experiments and customer process development. Additionally, this role handles chemicals safely, maintains production records, generates lab testing reports, and takes measurements for critical dimensions. Benefits Competitive pay Friendly and safety‑oriented culture Medical, dental, and vision coverage first month following the date of hire for employees plus eligible dependents Retirement Savings Plan (401k) with up to 6% company match Begin earning Paid Time Off immediately + 11 Holidays Set work schedule Paid on‑the‑job training Climate‑controlled facility Key Responsibilities Performs analytical testing on critical parts, using ICP‑MS and LPC Works within a team to achieve customer driven delivery schedules Works in a cleanroom environment for specialty processes Supports design‑of‑experiments and customer process development Handles chemicals, solutions, and chemical waste in a safe and appropriate manner Follows production processes in a consistent and exacting manner Generates lab testing reports for customers Maintains production records on all parts processed through each station Takes measurements for critical dimensions Minimum Requirements / Qualifications Certificate or associate degree in chemical technology or a related field like chemical process engineering Prefer laboratory experience or equivalent experience working with chemicals Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, handle delicate parts and equipment, and work with hazardous materials Comfortable using computers for various workflows Pay $25.00 - $28.00/hr Physical Requirements This job operates in a production and professional office environment, including wet or humid conditions, extreme cold and heat, and working near moving mechanical parts or equipment. Noise level is usually moderate. It requires regular lifting or moving up to 30 pounds. The role involves engaging in productive and collaborative communication and may require non‑standard hours including nights, weekends, and possibly holidays. The employee will move about the facility, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel/hold objects, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, speak, hear, and smell. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear, and interact with other employees. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
