Job Overview Employment Recruiter at a McDonald's franchise restaurant in Decatur, IL. Responsible for sourcing and recruiting crew and manager candidates, managing hiring processes, and supporting retention efforts. Responsibilities Work with hiring websites to set up interviews with prospective employees (for both crew and managers). Make daily visits to various market sites for potential employees: competitor restaurants, casual dining restaurants, high schools, technical schools, etc. Set up and participate in job fairs as scheduled by G.M.s or local schools/colleges. Set up follow-up meetings with all new hires at 2 weeks, 6 weeks, and 12 weeks (conduct a Q&A to help with retention). Achieve hiring and retention targets set by leadership, with bonus potential. Qualifications Energetic and outgoing, able to talk to anybody. Self‑motivated and knowledgeable about the current labor market. Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license.
