Make a difference in the lives of individuals and families.Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Human Services Professional - Specialized to provide skill-building, psychoeducation, and supportive services to individuals and families in their homes, schools, and communities. Working under the supervision of a Licensed Therapist or Therapist-In-Training, you will help clients build independence, develop healthy coping skills, and achieve their goals.What You'll DoProvide individual and family psychoeducation and skill development servicesSupport clients with daily living, parenting, social, employment, and community engagement skillsCollaborate with clients, families, treatment teams, and community partnersUtilize evidence-based practices to support positive outcomesComplete timely documentation and maintain accurate client recordsParticipate in recovery teams, supervision, and ongoing professional developmentRespond to client needs through flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekendsQualificationsBachelor's degree in a human services or related field requiredRelevant degrees may include Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Marriage & Family Studies, Special Education, and other related fieldsExperience working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges is preferredValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the community requiredWhat We're Looking ForPassion for helping individuals and families thriveStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to trauma-informed, person-centered careStrong organization and documentation skillsWhy Join LSS?At LSS, you'll be part of a mission-driven organization committed to empowering people, advancing hope, and strengthening communities.
